Fortunately I lift on Fridays and, therefore, didn't even have to think about whether I would ride, but I did venture out at 6 a.m. to walk the dog. At 8 degrees (and that's Farenheit for those of you in far away places) the Park was desolate except for a handfull of runners (taking up the entire bike line - - wtf?) and one lone guy on a bike (who was probably all pissed off at the runners in the bike lane). Nothing like another set of blogs about riding bikes, right? I was out on Sun and froze my ass off. Only lasted 1.5 hrs before the hands and feet (and the unmentionable...) were blocks of ice, and the drinks frozen for real. Anyone want a sip of Accelerade Frosty when its 27 deg out? - mmmmm. Since its been so long, I just had to remind myself of why I don't bother to ride outdoors below freezing temps. Came home with the legs feeling every bit as closed as before I left...
